A playwright, actor, and activist, Sejahari Saulter-Villegas is a Black-Mexican multidisciplinary artist from Chicago using his voice to uplift, advocate for, and represent black and brown stories in the theater and film world. As he continues to nuance social commentary through various artistic outlets, he is interested in how performance art can be used as a tool for liberation. He aims to build community with local artists and activists of the Black Diaspora during his time in the United Kingdom. Sejahari will be studying Black humanities at the University of Bristol for his first year and looks forward to collaborating with change makers interested in creating a more just world through art and action.
