Dr Mitchel Keller
Mitch grew up on a family farm in rural North Dakota and graduated from North Dakota State University in 2004 with a B.S. in Mathematics. He received his PhD in Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010. His doctoral dissertation focused on the combinatorics of partially ordered sets. As a Marshall Sherfield Fellow, Mitch will work with Professor G.R. Brightwell in the Department of Mathematics at the London School of Economics. They will conduct research on linear discrepancy for partially ordered sets and probabilistic methods in combinatorics. Outside of research, his interests include cooking, baking, and public service.
